Read

A straight read of what price is doing

  • Trend and structure. Higher highs and higher lows, or not. Where the last swing broke and which side has control.
  • The higher timeframe. Ask whether the 4h agrees with your 15m entry and it checks, then says whether you are trading with the larger move.
  • Your indicators together. RSI, MACD, moving averages, VWAP. Read as one picture, with divergences and crosses called out.
  • Your custom tools too. Session levels, prior day high and low, volume profile zones. If your indicator draws it, Wingman reads it.
  • A look at the chart itself. For flags, wedges and head and shoulders it looks at the chart the way you do.

Levels

Levels you can point at

  • Prices that light up. Hover a level and a marker lands on your chart at that price, so you see what it lines up with before you trust it.
  • Above or below, at a glance. Green above the market, red below, with the distance from the last price.
  • Pin what matters. Click to pin a labelled line. Undo is one click, and so is clearing everything Wingman drew.
  • Zones, not just lines. Ask for a demand zone, a range or a trendline and it draws the shape.
Plan

A trade ticket, not an essay

  • Invalidation first. Every plan starts from where the idea is wrong. The stop sits at a level that breaks the setup, not at a round number.
  • Targets at real levels, each with its distance and its multiple of risk, so you see 1R and 2R before you enter.
  • Reward to risk, up front. One number in the corner, green when the trade pays and red when you would be risking more than the first target returns.
  • On the chart by itself. Entry, stop and targets are drawn as the answer arrives. One click takes them off, a level is never drawn twice, and a new plan replaces the old one.
  • Sized to your account. Set your account size and risk per trade once; every plan shows the amount at risk and the position size.
  • Honest confidence. A figure, and the main thing that would prove the read wrong. Neutral is an answer too.

Context

The numbers around the chart

  • Perpetuals. Funding and the next payment, open interest, mark against oracle, your leverage and margin mode. Crowded longs with rising funding is a different trade from the same chart without it.
  • Stocks. Market cap, average volume, the next earnings date and the analyst target. It will tell you when earnings fall inside your holding period.
  • Your position. If your exchange shows it beside the chart, Wingman can plan around it. Switch this off and it only ever sees the chart.
Practice and alerts

On TradingView, a little more

  • Replay practice. Jump to a date, step bar by bar, take simulated entries and exits, and review how you did.
  • Price alerts. "Alert me if it reclaims 91.50." Set on TradingView, and it asks first.
  • Indicators on request. "Add the 200 EMA and VWAP." Done, and read back with what they say.

Describe the indicator. Get one that runs.

  • From idea to chart. Session highs and lows, a moving average ribbon, a strategy with your entry rules. Written, loaded, compiled and fixed until it runs.
  • Strategy results, read properly. Net profit, drawdown, win rate and profit factor, with what is carrying the result and what is not.
  • Your scripts, improved. Add an alert condition or a filter to a saved script. It asks before replacing your code.

You stay in the seat

It cannot place trades

Wingman reaches the chart and nothing else. It cannot touch an order form, a wallet or your funds.

It asks first

It is a second opinion

Analysis, not financial advice. It gives its read and the main risk to it. Sizing and execution are yours.
